Atif Butt won the Tekken 8 title at CEO 2026 in Orlando on 16 August, beating JoeCrush in a grand final that demanded a full bracket reset. The 784-player Tier-1 major now has a repeat champion.
A steep road through the losers bracket
Butt reached the grand final from the losers side after an earlier loss. He first eliminated Rest in the losers final, using Dragunov to earn his shot. That win set up a meeting with JoeCrush, who sat undefeated with JACK-8.
Two sets to a repeat crown
The grand final began with a tight 3–2 first set, as Butt switched to Bryan and reset the bracket. In the decisive second set, he left no doubt with a clean sweep. The Rosen Shingle Creek venue hosted the 16th annual event and a Tekken World Tour Master stop.
