A clean return after a month away

Wang stepped onto Swedish soil after a month-long injury layoff and wasted no time. She opened with a 3-0 victory over Egypt's Dina Meshref, then swept compatriot Qin Yuxuan in straight games. The early rounds showed no rust, only precision.

Three titles, one standard

In the quarterfinals she defeated Chinese Taipei's Peng Yu-Han 4-1, the only game she dropped in verified matches. The win sent her into a semifinal stage that included three Chinese players, a familiar show of squad depth.
