The 14-time X Games gold medalist launched a half backflip into an inverted stall on a suspended shipping container, then rode out into a half frontflip, a sequence so new it had no name.
A crane, a mega ramp, and one clean line
The stage was built from an in-ground in-run, an adjustable mega ramp, a crawler crane, and a Monster Energy container. The trick turned a raw industrial rig into the setting for a world first.
The combination was a documented "five-year fantasy," and completing it at his own Australian compound closed a long arc of privately engineered progression. One observer told reporters: "I've witnessed Ryan Williams do a lot of incredible riding firsthand, yet he still left me at a loss for words with this one."
