Egoitz Bijueska of Spain won the men’s park world championship at the World Skate Games in Asunción on 10 October 2026, securing his second consecutive world title in the discipline at age 15.

Led from the start, unassailable at the end

World Skate’s report said Bijueska “led from the beginning and was unassailable at the end”, and that he “barely missed a trick the entire time” in Paraguay.

He closed his winning run with a Switch McTwist, a trick he had premiered earlier at the same Games in Vert. Rivals pushed hard: France’s Tom Martin opened with a Kickflip Indy Transfer, Gui Khury landed a 540 and a 900 within 45 seconds, and Tom Schaar stomped a Blunt to Kickflip to move second.

But none could dislodge the Spaniard. At the midpoint of the third-run phase, only three skaters had completed full runs.

Back-to-back world gold at fifteen

Born in Bilbao on 24 November 2010, Bijueska won his first world park title in São Paulo in 2025. The Asunción result made him a double world champion, and he leads the World Skateboarding Ranking by a wide margin.

The same day, Japan’s Mizuho Hasegawa, also 15, won the women’s park gold. The finals in Asunción were part of the road to the Los Angeles Olympics.

Bijueska had already earned silver in park at X Games Sacramento in June 2026, his X Games debut and the first skateboard medal for Spain at the event.
